The “Future now?” webinar, held on Friday September 25 at 10:00-12:30, presents the key results of the first three-year period of the ALL-YOUTH research project (STN 2018-2023).
The webinar is part of the ALL-YOUTH research project’s “Future now?” multimedia events played out on the internet. Over the course of the autumn, the series will publish a line of outputs based on the exploratory and experimental collaborations of the project with a variety of academic and non-academic research partners. These include, importantly, a number of youth groups, aged 16-25, coming from all over Finland and representing various life situations and social positionings. At the heart of the “Future now?” events is the question of what a sustainable future means for young people when looked at from their life world and their personal dreams and concerns.
In the webinar, ALL-YOUTH researchers present their key research findings on four themes:
a) Equality and inclusion,
b) Youth and climate change,
c) Young people’s participation possibilities and new practices of participation,
d) Young people’s dreams and perceptions of a sustainable future.
The webinar will be hosted by Reetta Räty, visiting Professor of practice in journalism, University of Tampere.
The webinar is free for participants. A more detailed program will be announced in August, no registration. Welcome aboard!
